What is Change the World Music.Org?
CtWM is a charitable organization where artists, from the superstar to the most independent un-signed artist, can provide music downloads with proceeds going to charities of their or their fans’ choice. Imagine, turning a B-side recording, acoustic versions, demos, and live performances into a home for a child, clean water in a third-world country, education where there is none. What if we could immunize the world? CtWM opens those doors. There is no need to develop new product or technology, it's all available today.
CtWM will partner with artists by licensing one, two, or as many songs as the artist will provide for as long as the artist desires. The artist can simply provide the music and allow the on-line buyer to direct the proceeds from their purchase to their chosen charity or the artist can direct the proceeds to the charity of their own choice.
Music downloads are only one aspectof CtWM. It also will include on-line auctions of autographed memorabilia,front-row tickets to the biggest shows of the year, one-of-a-kind opportunities, like dinner with a particular artist, guitar lesson from a legend. And let's not forget ring-tones and video downloads.
